A 3G iPhone?

So Jobs, what’s the deal? First you slash the price of the iPhone 6 weeks after people dropped $600.00 bucks to buy the phone. Not a great move, but whatever, people got over it. Now AT&T says that a 3G iPhone may hit the market next year. Why would anyone want to buy a iPhone now if a newer better one is coming out soon?

All I want to know is, will current iPhone owners receive the benefit of AT&T’s 3G network or will we have go out and buy a phone? I can only imagine the backlash from users who recently bought the iPhone to find out that a newer, better, faster one will come out only months later. If the uproar is too great a $100.00 Apple only rebate may not quiet the masses.
